edit 2/14/2007: a DD. :faint: wow. thank you guys so much. especially =lockstock and `delya for the feature. and for those who watch my gallery for all the randomness i submit. for those of you new to my gallery, there are lots more strips with these two characters: "e" and "d". "Not Again..." is probably my next favorite after this one, although the strips with e and d pretending to be zombies or ninjas or pirates are pretty close to my heart.

Well, to me, the girl is trying to scare the guy, but he knows what she really is so he isn't scared. So she changes back to normal and they smile at each other. Maybe they randomly fell in love? xD

I can so relate to this....

It's like you put up a front (here the girl is trying to be scary) to ensure that the other person (boy) wont like her so she wont get hurt. But the plan is folied since the boy looks past all that to see the real person and truth that the girl is.

My old saying that I'd used to say all the time was "You must see underneath it all to see truth"..... Too many ppl put up fronts so other dont see the real person underneath...... its like they're scared that they wont be accepted or loved by others....

Ok I'll stop now....great job!!!!

She isn't trying to be scary. She is just herself. She so used to driving people away that she's completely surprised when he's not repulsed by her. I'm so glad you like it...

Thanks so much for your comments. I think on some level you're right... altho, I think the real her is actually scary to people, because when she's truly honest, people don't know what to do with it and so just get scared away. She's so used to this that it's just something she expects. But when she comes across someone who isn't scared, then the scariness is no longer scary... eh?

I'm so glad you found an interpretation in this tho... I think it def works both ways.
